Shikha is a highly driven colleague who I found to be very receptive to coaching, with an ardent desire to be continually developing and growing her leadership skills and personal brand. What makes Shikha exceptional, is her ability to consistently produce original content – she has authored several articles and interesting cartoons on Social Media. This is a rare trait because less than 1% of those in the social space author their own content, about 10% interact and the rest mostly consume content. Shikha’s original creations have been shared across multiple global channels. I had the opportunity to team with Shikha on several conferences and social media campaigns, and she has been a champion of getting things done, and done right. She has also inspired and trained other colleagues on various social media and marketing activities. I worked alongside Shikha for close to three and a half years. In those three and a half years, I saw her excel and become an expert at the core elements of her job – including lead generation activities, email marketing and event planning - but also learn other tasks that extend well beyond the scope of her role, such as her work as a social media ambassador across the Asia region. That's one of the things that's so remarkable about Shikha. She demonstrates not only mastery for her core role, but also the ability to take on new projects that are both difficult and critical to the company's growth. This rare mix of productivity and ambition sets a great example for the rest of the team, and explains why everyone loves working with Shikha - no matter where they fall on the org chart. Few people have the opportunity to report to a manager who is also a coach and mentor—but I did when I worked for Shikha.Shikha is a great manager! During my 4 years with her, I had the pleasure of working with her and she leads by example.She always kept the team motivated and shared knowledge.
